  1.     Unlike the single point charge, magnets 
  2. always contain both a positive and a negative 
  3. charge. Magnets are therefore dipolar; 
  4. magnetic monopoles do not exist. Magnets 
  5. are one source of magnetic fields. Materials 
  6. can be classified according the amount of 
  7. naturally occurring magnetic field that is 
  8. present within the material. Diamagnetic 
  9. materials do not possess a naturally occurring 
  10. magnetic field and do not become magnetized. 
  11. Paramagnetic materials possess a small 
  12. magnetic field and the magnetic fields of the 
  13. atoms may be somewhat aligned under specific 
  14. circumstances.
